Lance McDaniel

Founder and CEO Lance McDaniel is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker who has worked on 21 feature films, including Oscar-winner Million Dollar Baby. He is a business consultant with decades of experience in marketing, technology, events, and nonprofit management. And he is the former Executive Director of the deadCenter Film Festival, which was named Oklahoma’s Best Arts & Cultural Nonprofit under his leadership from 2010 to 2020.  

Lance has written, directed, and produced five feature films, seven short films, a virtual reality film, and two documentaries. He has produced three television specials for Armed Forces Entertainment. He has written a weekly film column for the OKC Friday Newspaper since 2011. And his latest movie, Finding Carlos, premiered in theaters in February 2022 and is currently available on iTunes, Apple, and on demand.  

Prior to his entertainment career, Lance was a marketing and technology consultant in London, New York, and San Francisco. He built and managed the original websites for Starbucks, Dockers, Hard Rock Café, Star Wars, and Harley Davidson. He holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree in film from Oklahoma City University.
